Houses of Parliament
I usually don't blog much of my corporate work on here, but I have been taking quite a lot of photos in the House of Commons and the House of Lords and I thought it would be good to put a few up here. I have been doing a range of work in the Houses of Parliament in February and March and most of it has been cross-party, which means that MPs and Lords from all the 3 main parties turn up.
L-R Nick Gibb MP, Conservative Shadow Minister Children, Schools and Families; Lord Baker; Ed Balls MP, The Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families; and David Laws MP the Liberal Democrat Children, Schools and Families spokesman. They were at the House of Commons attending the first ever election broadcast generated completely by the public, which was organised by Edge.
Edge had created a poster campaign featuring the Education ministers from each party. Unfortunately Michael Gove couldn't make it, so he was replaced with Nick Gibb MP, who did a great job, but sadly did not have an illustration to stand beside. Ed Balls and David Laws were very happy to be pictured with their likeness.
PolicyConnect commissioned me to take photos at the 'Skills Commission's Inquiry into Teacher Training in Vocational Education' Report Launch at the House of Commons. John Hayes MP, Conservative Shadow Minster for Lifelong Leaning, Further and Higher Education, was one of many politicians who gave a speech.
Dan Rogerson MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Minister for Communities and Local Government speaking at the ‘Management Infrastructure: Incentivising Community Buy’ an inquiry report launch from the Associate Parliamentary Sustainable Resource Group, at the House of Commons Terrace.
Baroness Whitaker deep in conversation at the House of Lords. The Associate Parliamentary Design & Innovation Group held the ‘Design and the Public Good: Creativity vs. the Procurement Process?’ inquiry report launch.
Keith Vaz, Labour MP at the International Women's Day Lobby at the House of Commons.
