Warrick McNeill
Covid-19 has been devastating for so many people around the world, and in so many ways. As a small business owner I found the loss of work extremely difficult, both financially and emotionally, and I have been very impressed by the steps other small business owners have taken to be able to reopen. One of the barriers for people returning to their usual places of work, health, and play is the fear for safety. I wanted to show just how seriously some businesses are taking this.
With their medical expertise, physiotherapists like Warrick are very aware of the dangers of Covid-19 and have taken many measures to keep risks as small as possible. As these photographs demonstrate, Warrick wears PPE while he works, is extremely thorough in cleaning between patients, and asks all his patients to take suitable precautions as well, including using hand sanitiser on arrival and wearing a mask.
At the end is a portrait I took of Warrick without his mask, because we hope at some point we will have a way to manage the virus, and it will be useful for small businesses to have images to use coming out of the pandemic as well.
