Last week I photographed Clean Break's 'Billy the Girl' at the Soho Theatre. Directed by Lucy Morrison and written by Katie Hims, it is an excellent play about women and the criminal justice system. Danusia Samal plays the titular Billy, just home from prison, to find her mum (played by Christine Entwisle) doesn't want her there as she is about to get married, much to the disgust of younger sister Amber (played by Naomi Ackie). All three actors are extremely good, I thoroughly recommend it.
